prefers to publish in impactful journals where my research is likely to be accepted for publication and where it is likely to be noticed by receptive readers, which I assess using JOT as soon one my manuscript abstract and references are finalized. jot.publichealth.yale.edu/search

It seems impossible to reply to "In your field, what's a top venue you'd like to publish in?" with either Nature or Science. Is that by design? All the Nature subjournals appear in the drop-down menu but not Nature itself.
