This strongly chimes with me! Wife & I don't & won't have kids, but so many mates do nowadays. ('cos we're all around 40) Was recently invited to a 1-year-old's birthday party and dreaded it as I everyone else there would be a parent and i'd feel odd. un/fortunately, I was sick and couldn't go. 😬
