There's a point at which "it's not bad, what matters is how you use it" stops being a valid defense. If the bad usage is common enough (or the consequences of a few severe enough), the thing in question is functionally a problem even if, technically, the ACTUAL problem is people.
"If people use it correctly as intended, it's fine!" "Are most people doing that?" "Nope." "Are most people likely to start doing that?" "Nope." "Then it's a problem regardless."
