My trick: list by size, and delete the top 10% of the list. Boom. Probably half the size. Don't worry about all the other stuff in there. Problem... solved? Solution 2: buy more storage. (These tricks work for multi-TB or -PB HPC storage too, in my direct experience. 😜)
