The Strasburg Railroad had tales of Agnes from a couple of their longtime volunteers who shepherded CN 89 on its way to PA in 1972. They got marooned with it in Wilkes-Barre. The pictures are wild.

And in 2002, I dragged my first ex-wife to the 30th anniversary of Agnes at the Corning Museum of Glass. In the old auditorium they had talks and a slide show, again with pictures that told a wrenching tale.
