So where does the lazy media consensus that migration overall is unpopular come from? Largely the misperception (driven by lazy/malicious media coverage) that asylum/irregular migration numbers are *much* higher than they really are.

This giving of clothes is a PR thing, loads of people in the public eye are gifted stuff, I really don't know what the fuss is about. It's been going on for years.
