It’s this sure touch with the concerns of real Londoners that has led to losses of £100 million over seven years… www.theguardian.com/media/2024/o...

Couldn’t get my head around public transport in Glasgow: there’s lots of it, but the buses are more expensive than (offpeak) trains, return tickets on offpeak trains are cheaper than singles, and there’s no one ticket to rule them all and the subway. Really odd.

Coming back on the train after a wonderful extended weekend in Glasgow. Sadly can’t bring today’s weather there down to London…

They’ll be receiving a hefty public subsidy in public notice contracts with Newcastle and other councils too. It’s completely broken.

I'm really proud of this big investigation into Bethnal Green Working Men's Club. There's something for every Bluesy user: The battle for London's queer venues, property developers, the Financial Conduct Authority, the English class system, Baby Reindeer. www.londoncentric.media/p/drag-queen...

An in-depth London Centric investigation. Plus: A discounted penthouse flat at St Pancras; the person dragged by an Overground train with their fingers stuck in the door.

no sign here, but it’s a bit bright in the city centre! Have a picture of a bin instead.

“people make Glasgow” slogan on bin, someone has added sticker with the word “dirty”

Wondering how much money London City Lionesses are spending on Insta ads (hopefully we’ll send ‘em packing on Sunday).

Damn, I’ve just arrived in Glasgow and need to take a look, the skies were clear as we went through the Lake District…
