Seriously though... they've been so responsible with their accurate depiction of mental health and LGBTQIA+ stuff only to make it look like if you just make pretty nice paintings, an audience will find you on social media, which is pretty harmful advice for teen artists right now.

So now she's going viral on Insta by posting just like... occasional okay paintings in the same kinda unpolished realism style of people she knows and random A level coursework and getting 10,000 subs for it, and I'm like have you people BEEN on insta the past 5 years!? 🤣
Last season was the same, it was like "And here is our STAR PIECE of the art exhibition!" *unveils dramatically!!!" And it's like... a fairly nicely executed acrylic painting of a girl and her besties sitting in an unpolished realism style.
I'm watching Heartstopper Season 3 and so far liking it, but the show's astonishingly naive notion of how a person becomes a famous artist on social media just keeps making me laugh. It's like a child's idea of how it would happen.
