Surely nothing more than mistakenly thinking it's Ukrainian or suspecting/knowing it had lost its way? I would think 'the west' would do the same if they were in a position to shoot one down while in NATO airspace.

Maybe we should just shoot down Russian drones and say it was Belarus. 😃
