I believe that a big part of the reason people gladly put authoritarian leaders in power is because they no longer trust themselves to make ends meet, and so they turn to a so-called âstrongmanâ to do it for them. The tragic thing is that they are planting the seeds of their own misery.
If the 20th century taught us anything, itâs that dictators are the biggest threat to human life on this planet.
