In Palm Springs for the weekend, I just had lunch with an old friend who I met as a baby gay around 25 years old, he was an older man who took me under his wing and was a bit of a queer mentor. He’s 77 now, still a twinkle in his handsome blue eyes. A fitting reunion for national coming out day.
