It’s such a weird concept of state-based registration for expat voting in US elections. Some people are American citizens and have never actually lived in a state but gain registration rights through a parent’s residence.

Any idea of how many of those US citizens are eligible to vote in Michigan? You have to have had some connection to a state to be registered in that state.
