Hey #PortfolioDay I’m Dave Clarke, an illustrator in the US moving from science illustration to fantasy work. CW for piece #4: body horror

In the darkness behind the curtains you see an enormous red feline paw and, in the gloom above the paw, a cluster of eyes. In the shadows above the door the sign reads Congress of Wonders.

The Egg Thief. A dragon squats atop a mountainous ledge in front of a cave opening, its wing bent as it readies to take flight. Hidden from view by the steep outcropping of the ledge, a thief climbs up, an empty sack slung over their shoulder in anticipation of the dragon’s egg, they hope to find.
