Hey #PortfolioDay I’m Dave Clarke, an illustrator in the US moving from science illustration to fantasy work. CW for piece #4: body horror

A painting of a night time scene lit by a kerosene lantern. A carnival barker stands near you, reaching his hand out to you, as he gestures toward a pair of red velvet curtains being held open by a little man. In the darkness behind the curtains you see an enormous red feline paw and, in the gloom above the paw, a cluster of eyes. In the shadows above the door the sign reads Congress of Wonders.
The Egg Thief. A dragon squats atop a mountainous ledge in front of a cave opening, its wing bent as it readies to take flight. Hidden from view by the steep outcropping of the ledge, a thief climbs up, an empty sack slung over their shoulder in anticipation of the dragon’s egg, they hope to find.
Variant cover for Miskatonic High comic book (issue 9). A father and son peer in a pet store window looking at the small weird creatures on display. The creatures are a mix of colorful, weird chimera including a toad with furry hind legs and tail, a simian with a multi-jawed mouth that opens like a flower, and a canid with multiple insectoid eyes and antlers.
Body horror art. A watercolor painting of close crop of a face showing the cheek and eye area. The eye stares wide-eyed as a worm-like creature (monster?) emerges from a zit that is being popped.
