Some US universities are starting to require climate change related courses. This is good, and it should be all the universities.

There was an attempt at Illinois to do that. Except they promise to do it without increasing neither the total number of courses nor the number of GenEd courses required. The truly byzantine system they ended up proposing would have ended up in people taking fewer climate change courses :))
This is a good idea but the reason I clicked through is to find out where that building is! Very cool. (it's the library at UC San Diego, as it turns out)
All UK engineering courses require a minimum amount of environmental study for accreditation by the Engineering Council. You can't become a chartered engineer now without it.
