During the last provincial election I was told my house didn't exist, after voting at the same address for two previous provincial elections. The poll worker only relented when I both showed them the address on street view and said I would report it to elections Ontario.

I do not know for other province, but in Quebec we have electoral list that are created from the tax form in addition to some detective work from provincial electoral organisation. f for whatever reason, you are not registered you can be assermented on the spot.
