and this affects the red states far more, sure California gets fires but generally the bigger damage are hurricanes etc

Climate change deniers always relied on the fact that, once global warming was obvious enough to have real world impacts, it would be too late.

Call me a softie but I feel for tribalists who followed political/ideological leaders in their belief that "climate change is not real" because insurers don't give a toss and soon they'll find out those leaders don't either. It's going to mess up people's livelihoods one way or another 😔
