If it's helpful for folks: I expanded Greg's script out into an email I just sent to my senators. Feel free to use it as a template for your own messages. (Obviously the Asian American part is somewhat specific to my situation though.)

Screenshot: "As a constituent, I'm asking the Senator and full Senate to censure JD Vance for his racist hate mongering against Haitians in Ohio. This is the same kind of rhetoric that led to a sharp rise in hate crimes in 2021 against the Asian American community. I was personally assaulted that year by someone yelling racial epithets. This rhetoric - now directed against Haitians, and by extension all non-white people, as we are all coded to varying degrees as "foreign," "Other," and "non-American" - is likely to lead to death and injury. Schools and medical centers have already been disrupted by bomb threats for days. The Senate cannot remain silent - this is not acceptable behavior from anyone, much less a sitting senator. JD Vance must be censured."
