over the weekend X / Twitter took the @America handle from the original user who registered it the handle now belongs to Elon Musk and his Super PAC set up to support Donald Trump here's everything we know: www.disruptionist.com/p/elon-musk-...
The original @America user was a critic of both Musk and Trump.
So bleak that we’re on our second news cycle of Republicans lying so egregiously about a community that their local counterparts beg them to stop
We have a 200-level careers for English majors class in my department, and it's time for the informational interview unit. I've got 3 scheduled with students who "want to be college professors," and man, I hate those talks, but they can change the trajectory of someone's life.
Have you not read every word of the Jack Smith filing yet? Would you like me to read it to you, while you go out for a walk, or putter around the house? OK. I will. Part 1: youtu.be/ELyG_2GJl0E...youtu.be/fD38ck6eblo...youtu.be/3eqVn0LN-do...
I ask myself this question every fucking day.
A professor says: “I teach in this brand-new building, and I needed some extra desks because I had more students than desks… It took three weeks to get them. But there were Coach Prime sweatshirts in the bookstore within 48 hours of his hiring. It’s kind of reflective of our values.”
The question isn’t new. But seismic changes to college sports, embraced by Coach Deion Sanders and his University of Colorado Buffaloes, have made it more relevant than ever.
Kind of wild that the Republican Party turned itself into a crime syndicate and then convinced everyone that prosecuting them for their crimes would be partisanship
I get you! In the end, I left the R1 for an R2 because, well, I discovered elite academe was not for me. I sort of wish I'd not "gotten lucky" because the job wasn't a good fit. Live and learn.
