One is to buy new shoes, inscribe some charactêres and voces magicae onto leaden soles (see the drawings), put the soles into the shoes and cover them with another pair of leather soles. There are no further prayers or ritual steps necessary: these miraculous shoes will simply take one wherever one wishes.
