Trump is a bad debater not because of his lies, but because of his inability to come off as on top of things. Vance is smart, and may package his lies in a reasonable way. Of course, he's also an ideologue, and may well be heedless of the offensiveness of his ideas to those not true believers.

Where *is* that? Charlotte is well to the east of the worst impact, and the plane is pretty low. I ask because, having grown up in Spartanburg (70 mi. west of CLT, 70 mi. SE of Asheville) this tragedy smacks me.

Of course, there are also the "Christians" saying that Asheville got what it deserved for being a leftie/LGBT enclave.
