The great thing about ATL-NOLA is since it's a full day time trip, roomettes are dirt cheap and it includes your meals (breakfast/lunch/dinner) on the trip either way. How much I enjoy it really does make me wish we had a more robust passenger rail infrastructure in the US.

Oh wow!!! That’s a sweet deal! And super fun! I’ve enjoyed the cafe and the observation cart a lot! And I just love the train. I’d travel that way more often if it was more available. In Canada it’s definitely not robust (due to a myriad of reasons). But this has been lovely!
