That's horrible. One thing I don't understand about Waymo. Why didn't the car proceed after they finally got out from in front of it?

based on video i've seen of people trying out the service on youtube i suspect after a time of being stuck it 'calls' for help and a human has to remotely move it around obstructions and send it on its way most automation is still just unseen underpaid labor
