Robert Ludlum was told that years ago, so he had some of his books published under a different name. I wonder if early on, that’s also why King used different names?

Michael Crichton started out with a much lesser known name, and then his backlist was republished under the newer one. I’ve already had my name added to my older works (except for lantern, which I’m still trying to get done).
