A1: Ask questions that prove student thinking and expand it… and really LISTEN to them. Have students repeat and reframe as needed in ways that highlight the brilliance of student ideas. #ElemMathChat

Also the part about the repeat....be sure you aren't "fixing" their ideas when you record or restate them. Their ideas are probably fine just the way they are, and they need to believe that. #ElemMathChat
