Since I have now been asked several times about the ongoing fire on the Diehl site, I would like to comment on it now. The fire is not at Diehl Defence, which produces the IRIS-T SLM air defence system or missiles such as IRIS-T or IRIS-T SL, which would be relevant for Ukraine, but at Diehl Metall.

The company manufactures parts for the automotive industry or the heating and sanitation industry. Even if the cause of the fire has not yet been made public, it can at least be assumed that it has nothing to do with Ukraine or Russia.
