Yeah I'm really not sure to be honest. Played so well this year but Saturday was shockingly bad. Full credit to Brisbane they were outstanding and I was pleased for Fagan who's had to deal with a fair bit of criticism himself.
Looking forward to getting there. My son lives in Newtown so am over there fairly regularly. It sounds like a great day....both the league and the footy!
6 here too. Cats Hawks game was excellent. Swans should have beaten the Dogs but threw that away. Looking forward to getting to Henson Park when next in Sydney...looks a cracking ground.
Poor first quarters were a problem all year and weren't really addressed. The forwards have been unable to take marks consistently all year with no visible improvement and we seem to have no plan b at times. Not really sure what to think re Longmire...maybe a fresh approach is needed.
As a Swans fan I'm still trying to process the result. I expected either a convincing Swans win (based on the logic that Brisbane had played 2 grueling matches) or a tight Lions win. So was a but stunned by the result. It does seem that Longmire doesn't seem to be able to react quickly enough.
