Also be aware that without clickable hashtags or user-curated Lists (I think both are in the feature pipeline), people may have more trouble seeing your posts. Seek out custom feeds that interest you, find out how your posts can get included (usually it's a search term).

I'm also finding new people by seeing who Likes my posts, browsing list & clicking through to check out what they're posting about (& how much they're interacting with others, if at all).
