🧵: Why not just created a feed based on hashtags? Because a spammer / troll could easily hijack a hashtag, push to the feed. Having a feed that pulls hashtagged posts from curated LISTS not only helps but also means the burden of moderation is spread among multiple List Moderators, not just one.

🧵: We are only adding Kidlit Lists that are being actively maintained & curated. If a List starts pushing hate speech, spam etc. to the feed, a Moderator needs to do something about it (warn person, remove from List etc). Moderators and/or Lists who don't abide by the feed rules will be removed.
