The main issue is that this movie felt super unnecessary. Didn’t do anything different from the first one other than there’s some cool songs. It was definitely more like an epilogue than a sequel and that’s where its biggest flaw lies. It’s not dogshit but it’s milquetoast entertainment

To be honest tho, it’s not as bad as some people online are making it out to be. It’s objectively a well made movie. Marketing it and advertising it as a musical kinda killed interest. As someone that doesn’t like musicals, it was a cool take on it

Should be game of the year. I fear political tensions with China would prevent that from happening. Hopefully not tho it would be immensely deserved.
