That looks a lot like my telescope actually! Celestron. I've read that it's really not recommended for beginners and I see why...but I got it at a yard sale for $30 so who am I to complain?
The beautiful fall foliage and mild weather has me thinking about my trip to the Gunks a few years ago. It was absolutely breathtaking and I can't wait to go back. White quartz cliffs and vibrant orange leaves 1000 feet below in the valley. The Catskills just might be "my place".
