I have family in Mt Eden and out West that were impacted by the floods. Those in Mt Eden were paid out for damaged household items and vehicles within a month. West Auckland fam nearly a year later & l”complaints with the ombudsman. Inequality is rife in NZ, there’s a postcode lottery for fairness.

To say nothing about the flooding in the south of the city where they haven’t even been categorised yet.
