if they dont mind the tapping then I'm okay with it too! My apartment just has paper thin walls to the point my partner can hear my cat meowing at the end of the hallway whenever we call so I don't want it picking up when its family talking 😭

Yeahhhhhh that would suck🥺 I know at least for you, you could put foam padding on the walls and a little door thing to stop your voice from traveling out of the room but as for voices outside of the room I don’t think/know if it’ll help much but it does depend on how loud the outside is aaaa
