The live action is a good way to start one piece for the most part but if you've watched or read it before it's much more exciting I think
In all fairness the first 200-300 episodes are like 2 decades old at this point, pacing and animation standards were way different then. That's what onepace.net is for, it's the "fan edit" which is to say abringing the anime to match the manga much more closely, so the pacing is substantially better

Okokokok so hear me out, a separate two system character creator: combat/utility skills; and a flavour/world skillcheck system. Like you pick and choose beetween shipwright cook navigator etc etc that lets you add flavour to your character and interacts with event checks at sea and in town and so on
