We needed some time to gather ourselves and get organised again. But now we have decided to organise our event in July. For several years now, we have been fighting with our "GoFilmThePolice" campaign to make racist police violence visible in its brutality and as organised violence, and we are campaigning for the decriminalisation of filming.
This year we would like to end the campaign and therefore invite you to the neighbourhood house for exchange, reflection and networking. Admission is at 06:00 pm. At 06:30 pm we will present our campaign. At 07:00 pm we will start with 4 themed tables where you can inform yourself and discuss with us about: 1️⃣ Legal situation GoFilmThePolice: What am I allowed to do and what am I not allowed to do when filming? 2️⃣ How can we mobilise and organise better? What is needed for continuous alliance and networking work? 3️⃣ Beyond police and penalties. What makes us safe? 4️⃣ How can the campaign be continued if necessary? From 20:45 there will be a poetry slam by Ann from International Women* Space (@iwspace.de ) and Deniz Torlak (@denizstressiz) as well as music and food. The venue is barrier-free and the event is free of charge. It will be held in German, but we will provide a translation if needed. Afterwards you will have the opportunity to talk to the alliance.
