I am of the opinion that no one wants to be approached at the gym w/o DAMN GOOD (you're about to hurt yourself) reason What are everyone else's thoughts on this cos there is a beautiful man at my gym and I'm tryna decide if breaking my own rule makes me an asshole or if im the only one who cares

Generally, men (with our lower risk and danger factors) don't mind so much. If he does, then he wasn't a good one for you anyway.

I don't think it's a hard and fast rule! I've been approached at the gym with a nice compliment or something and it's always appreciated! My take would be to start with a mutual interest if you can glean any!

Nothing is true, everything is permitted. But seriously, society is just a game we make up as we go along. If you approach someone as a full human being and value them as such, I don’t think the location is a dealbreaker for a connection. Don’t have a motive aside from meeting another human.
