In 2021, I gave testimony and evidence under oath in an Ontario courtroom that COVID was airborne and thus we need to take airborne precautions. The other side's expert was a doctor from Public Health Ontario who argued the opposite. I will never stop retelling this story.
In Canadian law, there is a distinction between public health and individual health. A risk group 3 pathogen like sars-cov-2 is considered “dangerous for individual health, not dangerous for public health.” That doc was not paid to care about anything but the viability of the workforce.
It's one thing to be cautious in 2020 and unsure about how COVID spreads. But WHY is there so much resistance to admitting that COVID is airborne now, in 2023?
We knew it was airborne in 2020, like early on, March or April. Masks wouldn't even have been proposed if it weren't airborne. How is this up for debate?
What was the case about and the verdict? #DontLeaveUsHanging
This story is shocking and you should always keep telling it. Things would be much different if they had listened to you.
It's enraging. I hope it didn't drive you to drink.
And no doubt that’s Linsey Marr in the picture, one of the other experts that should’ve been heeded. Just to make this story perfect, was Matt Strauss the physician?
The MD was wrong. The PhD was correct. From another MD.
“The medical field” You mean the corporate driven portion of the industry? Because I definitely recall the realization it was likely airborne, beyond droplet, and it got squelched so fucking fast 😮💨 CDC went from, “Oi, it might be thirteen feet” to “your kids are safe at three feet” whiplash level
Shouldn’t that “expert” lose his taxpayer-paid job?
