Honestly, at the start exactly the same. It's very open, it doesn't explain the story, etc. They added a story tab in the remaster, but the game is about exploring and, when you lose yourself to it? Extremely fun. I have Romancing SaGa remaster on my Steam wishlist now as I want to get into them.

He always gets so much hate but I like Cait Sith. Goofy and fun! Peco so good too.
