If you chose to take the positives from Tuesday night’s loss at home to Hull City then QPR were in the mood to make you look and feel very stupid indeed at Derby on Saturday.

Any win against QPR will always be cathartic and mean a little bit more. Today was no exception. There were so many encouraging elements in #dcfc's performance and 4-2-3-1 definitely suits this squad, even if injuries forced it on Warne. A Yates goal to seal it would have been the cherry on top.

All five #dcfc defeats have come against clubs currently in the top ten of the table. QPR are only the second club we'll face with no realistic chance of promotion. I'll look the other way when we lose at Sunderland or Sheff U, but these are the games we need points from to stay clear of danger.

I've created a league table which also shows clubs' most recently published wage bill and highlights those in receipt of parachute payments. My assumption was that the parachute clubs would cluster at the top and, with the exception of Luton, they have not disappointed. Big game for #dcfc tomorrow

Ozoh is a natural holding midfielder, which nobody else in the squad seems to be. He's also a decent passer. Tommo would have been a useful bench option if fit, as well. You can see how the squad is very much still a work in progress. Lots of issues weren't quite resolved this summer.
