Guess which game had to go on hiatus for the summer, while my son isn't in school?

I know what you mean. I am currently running two campaigns, both Mage the Ascension. With group one I could show up, set the scene and then take a two hour nap and the game would still run smoothly. Group two I have to have everything planned out and prod them to make any progress.

I will make two comments: 1. Yeah Mage 2. I wish my players were half as conscientious. Good for you and your players.

#RPGaDAY Day 14. It depends on how I'm interpreting the question. Best meta plot characters are WoD in general, and Mage specifically. When it comes to a system that creates compelling characters, the obvious answer, for me, is Traveller. You will never end up with the character you planned.
