I’m beginning to think this is a Garda problem, rather than a public disorder problem, as these thugs aren’t the brightest, how are not all on police cautions. Maybe it’s a wake up call to get a more militant type police.

Or maybe it's a wake up call to admit how useless they are (unless you're a landlord in need of help during an eviction).

They're militant enough with striking workers, squatters and evictions. Don't think the militancy is the problem as much as the focus and interest.
