If only the programmers had weighted all the other system users’ input AT LEAST as much as they weighted physicians and hospital admins
At one point I was a DBA who worked on the trizetto database used by almost every domestic insurer. We were SO insulated from the work we were doing. "Line 427 includes (x, y, z) change to (x, y, z, q)" You had to really READ the code to know what you were doing. I did, never took another DBA job.
