Cossa backed up by Gylander with Bednar and Alexander in Toledo makes sense but the Wings historically have liked to have a vet in GR as a mentor.

It's worth noting that the Griffins had Hutchinson on a PTO for the first part of last season and could always do something like that again if they felt Cossa needed more help than Gylander/Bednar/Alexander can provide. That doesn't lock them into anything long-term if things change in Detroit.
