This is unbelievable. The maternal mortality rate for millennials in the US aged 25 to 34 is 230% higher than it was for Gen Xers and 300% higher than it was for baby boomers of the same age

Correction! reporting standards are different for different generations. There were changes to mortality reporting in 1990s & in early 2000s which means cross generation % comparison is not accurate. Large spike in mortality between Gen x and millennials is accurate & based on consistent measure.

Another indictment of our health care and, more to the point, health insurance systems.
