I really love the positive rep of different ways to connect to Judaism in this book. I love Jeffrey’s connection through food, Judith’s connection through art, Isaac’s connection through new-to-him interpretations of Jewish texts… it makes me want to just hug the book & all its characters.

I also love reading a book about queer folks who are also religious. There are so many books about folks discovering they’re queer and leaving community; here, queer Jews are BUILDING community within their larger community.
