As I've said elsewhere, they're consigning themselves to irrelevance. Why would I ever give a shit about the NYT's coverage again if they can't manage this basic stuff? Why would I subscribe?

Exactly! I subscribe to journalist publications to be informed of the world around me. If a publication isn’t going to properly inform me of what’s going on, what’s the point of subscribing?? I unsubscribed from NYT and Wapo earlier this summer and next looked back.
