Parties don't move left, they die and get replaced. That's why you've never voted Whig

Ok, so what, we should vote for a party that's built no grassroots power at state-level elections and hope they can just skip to the White House? If the Greens or PSL or whoever had a strong base of organizational power, I'd be more willing to vote for them, but they've only declined since 2016.
