This weekend was full of harvest stuff from my garden. Canned many tomatoes, picked alot of carrots, trimmed several pounds of bud, picked like 5 watermelon (which were all bad). To top it off, it was well over 100 every day!
That was only half the tomatoes. 5 jars of marinara sauce, 7 of juice. Took me 11 hoursā¦

Today feels like a good day to spend the entire day turning garden tomatoes into fresh marinara sauce. By the end of today, I hope to have 6 jars of sauce!

I think they are more popular in the Bay Area suburbs than in SF itself. Very popular with one demographic in particular. You canāt drive from San Ramon to Dublin to Mountain House without always having at least one in eyesight at all times.
