rpg idea: The Gods are indifferent to the mortal realm. Not because they're angry or anything: they're just dead. The only one left is the God of Theater pretending to be ALL of them and vaguely answering cleric emails.

When you eventually become powerful enough to kill the God of evil or whatever and plane shift to the realm of despair, you're met by the God of Theater, looking haggard and overworked: "Finally, some understudies! What roles did you read for?"

I feel sad for that God. He's probably lonely and needs friends. Or at least some helpers.

That's actually a really cool premise for a movie/story plot
