There was one big artist that made an entire thread in twitter talking about how erotic art "isn't art" because it's "instinct and not spiritual" and other bs. Got me pretty angry, because art is about all human feelings and expression and demonizing eroticism is such a shallow worldview.

Wow, that's an... interesting perspective. Especially considering how many traditions acknowledge sexuality as a spiritual mechanism.

Sexuality is for many a direct link to a very personal form of intimacy and pleasure,,how anyone could conclude that abstaining from erotic art is ‘more spiritual’ than opening themselves to it and that part of themselves? Yuck. Whoever it was who made that post is on some bullshit
