Thank you.
I loooooooong for a nice beach walk in Dorset. The only beach and sea we saw this year was in St Andrews (for just 20 min, but it was wonderful). Need a holiday 😔
That’s good, a very positive upward trajectory, but I guess somewhat anxiety inducing because it’s another unknown in terms of care you are about to receive. 🤞it is as good as previous.
Maybe they were for normal flies and not horse flies 😉
I find cooking porridge very therapeutic. We even have a spurtle to stir it with, and I don’t know how, but it definitely makes porridge fluffier 😳
Morning. Off to see daughter who’s not doing very well mental health wise. Feels very isolated and hasn’t made any connections with other students yet. Taking her out for lunch. MIL out of hospital, doing somewhat better. Have a good day everyone, hope your leg is healed now, Guy 🙏
Happy birthday, hope you get to celebrate later on today 🎉
Morning. It was daughter’s first night in uni accommodation. The house feels so empty, my heart is aching and I feel a bit lost. I was her carer for the last three years, and it’s going to take getting used to not having to put her needs first every day. I’m officially an empty nester 😭.
That would have been so annoying! We had to move our son completely from his first year accommodation at Xmas and Easter, and it wasn’t fun 😞 She’ll cope, but it’s tainted the start of uni a bit.
Morning. Disappointing results with daughter’s accommodation drama, it turns out due process wasn’t quite followed. She will cope, but it’s frustrating as it all could have been avoided. We have been told that lessons have been learnt , and that it won’t happen again. Hopefully. 🤞
